Privacy Policy

MicroClass ("we", "us") is responsible for the personal data processed through the MicroClass website, applications and related services (the "Service"). This policy forms part of our Terms of Service, and terms defined there have the same meaning here.

We process personal data in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the provisions of the Electronic Commerce Law (1382) on the protection of personal data.

Account information: your phone number or email address, name, profile picture, language and preferences, and, if you use Google sign-in, the basic profile Google shares with us.

Content: the prompts, requirements, files and documents you upload, and the micro classes, slides, narration and quizzes generated for you.

Learning activity: classroom progress, quiz attempts and answers, grades, messages you exchange with AI teachers and classmates in a classroom, and your interactions with visuals and controls.

Voice: when you allow microphone access and speak in a classroom, we process your voice to transcribe it, and we may store the audio recording and the transcript with the classroom session.

Payments: plan and wallet transactions, amounts, dates and the reference numbers returned by the payment gateway. Card details are entered on the gateway's page, not ours, and we do not store them.

Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages and features used, timestamps, error reports and security logs.

Communications: messages you send us through the contact form, email or support channels.

To create and secure your account, verify your identity with one-time codes, and keep you signed in.

To generate, deliver, grade and personalize micro classes, and to run features such as sharing, collections and classroom chat.

To process payments, manage your wallet and plans, prevent fraud and meet accounting and tax obligations.

To keep the Service safe: detect abuse, enforce our Terms and content-safety rules, investigate incidents and respond to lawful requests.

To measure performance, fix errors, and improve the quality of generation, narration and teaching.

To send you service messages, such as login codes, receipts, generation status and important changes to our Terms or this policy.

To generate micro classes, speech, transcripts, images and answers, we send the relevant parts of your prompts, User Materials, classroom messages and voice recordings to artificial intelligence model providers that process them on our behalf.

Some of these providers may operate servers outside Iran. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer for the purposes described in this policy. We send only what is needed for the task.

Do not include sensitive personal data, such as health information or other people's private information, in prompts or uploads unless it is strictly necessary.

Service providers who help us run the Service, only for that purpose: hosting and file storage, AI model providers, SMS delivery providers for login codes, email delivery, Google for sign-in, licensed payment gateways, error monitoring and push-notification services.

People you choose to share with: when you share a micro class or collection, members can see its content and, depending on their role, related activity. Classroom chats are private to each learner, but MicroClass administrators may review them for support, safety and abuse prevention.

Authorities: when disclosure is required by law, a court order or a request from a competent authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or MicroClass.

Business transfers: if MicroClass is reorganized, merged or sold, personal data may be transferred to the successor, which will remain bound by this policy.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

As set out in the Terms of Service, micro classes are the property of MicroClass, not of the user who created them. Ownership of a micro class does not give MicroClass any additional right to your personal data: your personal data inside a micro class is still handled under this policy, and we will not publish a private micro class in a form that identifies you or discloses your personal data.

We keep account information for as long as your account is open. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we must keep it longer.

We keep payment and transaction records for as long as accounting, tax and legal obligations require.

Security logs, abuse reports and data relevant to a dispute or investigation may be kept until the matter is resolved.

Micro classes may be retained after your account is closed, with your personal data removed or de-identified. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.

We use cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary for the Service: to keep you signed in, protect your session, and remember your language and theme. We also use them to measure performance and diagnose errors.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but essential cookies are required to sign in and use the Service.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and restricted access for staff. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal data, we will take reasonable steps to limit the harm and notify you where required by law.

You can ask us to give you access to the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, or delete your account and personal data. Some information can be edited directly in your profile.

You can withdraw microphone permission in your browser at any time; voice features will stop working, but the rest of the Service will not.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may refuse or limit a request where the law allows or requires, for example to keep transaction records or to protect other people's rights.

Learners under 18 may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian may contact us to review, correct or delete their child's personal data.

If we learn that we have collected personal data from a minor without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when published on this page, with the date shown at the top. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in the Service or by message. If you continue to sign in or use the Service after an update, you acknowledge the updated policy.
